Conscience

Conscience is an unbiased witness. It is a lamp in the heart, it raises opposition and voice if you think something contrary to righteousness. One can never afford to be deaf to this voice, insensitive to its pricks and callous to its criticism. Corruption of every type is assault on conscience. We can’t pretend all the time, impression of the subconscious mind and their forces work very thoroughly and change nature of every atom of the doer.
While we change our attitude substantially, our nature, identity of some core deep within us, is not changed at all. These deepest principles and the matrix, the subconscious, are changeless. Our names can change, all cells of our body can change but a certain core remains as such. That is simply the consciousness, the self, one who has picked this body from earth. Consciousness is monarch of our body and frame and its subjects should not be teased to rebel against it. Nose is path of perfumes and mouth is path of delicacies but, perfumes long smelt become offensive and delicacies destroy the appetite they flatter. Understanding thoroughly we come to know that reason and will are not consciousness, they are actions of it and not its essence. The end of all human search is truth; means to discover it are reason and experience; which are mostly weak and uncertain. General opinion is also not a proof of truth, as generality is ignorant. Our own perception and knowledge of creator are plain before our faces to motivate us every moment for worship. Nothing more is needed to be known. Adoration to eternal consciousness which not only preexists and survives the body but also guide us on every occasion of addressing for right decision making is the only way-out.
