The Only Choice

Those who accept only the best, finally get it and it is rightly said that the best way to predict future is to invent it. We never choose parents nor wishfully take birth in the world. In fact we are placed in ever-changing genetic, physical, social, professional and economic waves of environment. Our family and friends are mantle for us in this interplay game. For optimum development and success we have to fit into this environment and extract most of the energy applying least input from our side. People generally take one of these postures in their life according to their nature and background:-
• Those who believe life is pre-destined and go along with the pangs of time are Random Walkers.
• People with high logic and analyses look forward and believe the precedence and history, they are Reactive Type.
• Some with half hearted logic and intuition start but fear to act and follow middle path, they can be called Crisis Strategist.
• People with well developed logic and intuition sense opportunity and act with faith. They can be called Proactive Strategist.
We have to analyze and understand our posture and gradually finetune our mindset to actualize our potential. Actualization of our great unique potential is prime responsibility of our life.
People become eminent by following the basic laws of nature over a period of time. If we look carefully all the eminent people from all the fields of world followed the same strategy. Bigger the need, the value served, greater the eminence. Every one of us can attain this eminence in our own way. The way is specialization which gradually solves the problem of society and enhances indispensability. Finally one becomes specialist in serving specific needs of society, identify the gap, concentrating on the energy and plunging deep into action. Go on conditioning the vision and purpose of life, it works. Build dreams, work for them honestly and repeat them, they build you up. Leap, don't wait, hide and pretend: reinvent your inner aspiration.

Moderate Exercise

Exercise cuts flab, boosts energy and help stave off diseases from depression to heart disorders. If we simply expend hundred calories every day by being more active we lose five Kg fat in a year. This is in addition to the controlled intake of our food. Suppose we take hundred calories less and continue twenty minutes walk five times a week. Eight to ten Kg is lost in a year. Moderate exercises cure the most common type-II diabetes in most of the cases by taking glucose out of the blood stream to use it for energy requirements.
Workout is less about looking good and more about feeling good. This feel good effect is a powerful medicine for depression. Exercises make our joints flexible and muscles strong. The benefit can be enhanced by managing the eating habits and individualized exercise. Fitness level has direct relation with different type of bad diseases like cancer. Least fit men and women are attacked by cancer etc frequently and their death rate is four times higher. Increasing the tolerance and immunity level exercises act as anti-cancer mechanism. It also reduces blood pressure and increases the level of good cholesterol

Toxin of Material Nexus

If we monitor others and change ourselves to suit them accordingly and tap benefits pleasing others, we continue dysfunctional pattern of living. But when we monitor self we change easily and move towards creative pattern and system of wellness. To do and appreciate what is acceptable is not justified, it is always against people and a convenient compromise somewhere in between wrong and right. If we want to start living for ourselves in independent manner we have to drop all ornaments from our neck and appreciate due drops on the gross tips. We have to standout with our personality and not our mantle or clothing. It is required to ignore value in material things around us to detach ourselves and stop the value material nexus.
We should try to accept every right impression and reject the wrong impressions because reacting mechanically in mental preoccupation or anger we add toxins in our own body and mind. Those who are unfit or even rejectable on the map of our likes and dislikes should also not be hated. These things increase our toxic center and create currents of negative energy.

Encourage Silence

The gap between thoughts is silence, we should experience and increase it whenever we get time and opportunity sparing some of our energy for simplification of life. This increases inner orderly state and brings joy as well as happiness. Silence also gives us opportunity to hear the consciousness. This can connect to the universal and greater consciousness easily. Ongoing process of self observation makes it clear that part of you that is projected into illusion is cause of problems and unrest of life. The blocks of old thought and belief, the traditional frame is hurdle in experiencing full potential of anything in our life. We have to set ourselves free of it otherwise clinging to personal and social identities we are blinded, war, greed, competition driven by paranoia and fear are its outcome.
If we simply analyze the wishes and purposes of life separately and reducing attention from wishes, concentrate on purpose strictly, the journey towards wellness is started. Once we believe that we are more than corporeal self and consciousness is beyond this body, we realize the crux of it and march towards the real goal of wellness.

Material Security

Capability and not security is answer to the problems of every day life. Capability comes by tenacity of purpose and self control. For physical security we want power and government, arm forces and war is outcome of it. Wise search opportunity whereas fools waste life in search of security. Search of security breeds fear and desire which always limit our perception focusing on objects or want of material and power. This narrows perception and becomes a restless obsession in due course of time.
Contented and simple gradually subdue hypocrisy and pride in their life and finally get rid of fear, insecurity and to some extent ego of life.
Life is a continuous experience with tolerance and freedom from undesirable manifestation of ego. The thing which comes between us and our fulfillment of desire and wellness is only the fear. The fear of being lonely and failing to perform or fear based on illusion and wishful thinking. It is true, we are alone, separate divine being though complete in all respect and separate from outside but really a part of all that is, which in totality takes care of every thing. It is a great perception and a wakeup call.

Creativity

We can’t afford to live and work only to exist in this world. It is simply the wastage of life. All the existence at the higher level is one and the same. Every individual of the world is a subset of a higher set. We should also realize that we are creator of every aspect good or bad in our life and each of us is a centre of that creation. Following things are evident in all the experiences of life:-
• Living is assertion of life and there is hardly a watertight division thus those who make walls finally become lonely.
• One thought starts everything and repeated thinking goes to make firm convictions and emotions.
• Differences in this world don’t forbid love but only add richness to life and practical tolerance gradually leads to transformation.

Happiness in this world lies in simple identifiable small things. One should develop ability to capture it. It practically makes life taken away for a brief moment thus we touch the special reality which can not be spoken about. We should always remember that pride is archenemy of love, prosperity of peace of mind and differentiation of happiness. Quality of one’s life is quality of constant feeling of creativity with practical tolerance and happiness is reward of it which goes to deepen these practices and efforts. It is demand of creativity to look for the good in every situation and every person.

Unity & Tolerance

The order displayed in this world understood by analytical mind calls for divine but when we suffer without no fault of ours, we disbelieve the creator as he can only be comforter not inflicting suffering on us. Unity and interconnectedness of life can be felt only by a compassionate heart which can see beyond misconceptions and limitations of thinking mind. This gradually brings you out of egocentric ignorance that we are a separate entity.
Work hard, practice cessation of individuality and work together. It makes house society and nation. Living along-with the current of desire, we go on being animal like. Only fighting with external world to derive more in our share we gradually become sub-human, the rivalry continues and we are locked in a game of continuous evaluation. Moments when this desire and rivalry is not there become blissful and take us towards peace and wellness. If it is regularly practiced it will give rise to “pure action”, the action without the motivating desires.

Positivity

The door of unity, wellness and harmony has two halves, positivity and tolerance. Our body is an apparatus for creating outer and inner processes. It is always better to conduct all this in complete harmony. This is only practiced path which makes life a journey or a movement from imperfection to perfection. This is our true nature and real state of wellness. In order to control, explore and inspire everything good and important we need positive attitude and style.
Management howsoever proficient and is competent not good because life is to be lead in real sense of term. We should equip and prepare to face the problem as it is. Complete truthfulness is an advantage because it gives clean understanding and reliability. We also need to overlook rumors and control our self. We should also avoid the giving trap, which encourages to work hard and forces that we should always give, go on giving and delivering. In this trap one feels guilty if he stops giving. This type of a trap kills personal freedom, reduces the breathing space and ignores our own life and wellness because we are forced not to spare time for ourselves. Consciously we have to get rid of this trap and utilize optimum of our energy in positive manner.

Meditation

If one is full of himself and full of excuses there is no room for faith and action. Such people can never invite goodness. All the excuses and pressures are self imposed as every information is biased. We should manage to spare time daily to sit calmly and try to get out of unnecessary thoughts, stilling the mental noise and expanding awareness, it is basic practice for meditation.
The nonstop stream of knowledge coming in form of figures in the mind, called thinking kills the inner voice. This is how the liar establishes itself in our head as a constant storyteller translating everything in the mirror of past experience and imaginations of future. This nuisance-maker resides in our head. That is why once we are born, we soon forget who we are and start believing that we are only physical body. Meditation is a gradual process to stop and undo this menace.
If entropy of our nervous system is decreasing in waking state, it is meditation. Doctors say that it is some short of shut down of parietal lobes. Psychologists say it is loss of sense of self. If neurons resonate in harmony it gives rise to happiness and wellness. It is said, meditation is keeping the mind aside and watching it. A mind free of deception and not guided by uncontrolled desires is very calm and it prepares stable ground for meditation and wellness. Simply by endless active remembrances of the creator or ultimate reality in any form leads us to wellness. If we only believe that we have the destiny to achieve what we want, it starts taking shape and finally emerges successful. Our thoughts start delivering, if repeated and allowed to go deeper. We also have to keep communication channels open so that we are not cut off from social interaction like a frog of the well. It works because the perceiver and perceived is one and the same.

More of Consciousness

Energy predominates in childhood and exhibits ceaseless activities. Hormones predominate in the youth and give way to art and lust. Emotions predominate during middle age and inculcate emotions and compassionate services. But one has to transcend all this seeing the impact of forces on the body and mind. One should consciously think, if needs of body are limited, needs of self, the conscious can never be unlimited since all the requirements are only physical and material.
Our conscious self is not sum total of body, mind, feeling, thoughts and basic consciousness. Just like a complete flower has many non-fragrant and colorless ingredients, consciousness is not something separate from matter. In fact the subjects and object of consciousness arise simultaneously. There is no separation of body and mind, cause and effect, name and features etc.
We should practice going within us to visit peace regularly. Our brain is translator of consciousness which acts, speaks and works everywhere. We should think independently and infinitely, this gradually connects with consciousness. We should also practice to focus our mind away from clutters of life and think of peace and inner consciousness. One should also have firm devotion to truth and never refute laws of nature in day to day life. It is always better to accept and admit our responsibilities knowing our strengths and weaknesses and let the consciousness illuminate our path.

East and West Unite

You can not hold on to anything, money, love or knowledge, the more you allow it to flow more will come back to you after serving others. West has developed science and technology to solve the problems and deal with the aspirations of the physical world but lacks inner spiritual development required for the wellness of the world. That is why they wasted the technology and even used it to harm the humanity. To avoid moral and spiritual decline, west should freely share technology and scientific wisdom with the east in exchange for the east’s priceless spiritual teachings.
It is prime duty of all of us to know who we really are, what is actually important for us and what we can do best because all of us have to search a successful life in what we love to do.
Life is storehouse of energy and we have to learn to tap this energy to find our place in this universe. Material energy of the world is only a part of this huge consciousness and worldly consciousness is made up of temporary mental processes and events. All this is impermanent. Our awareness, existence and wellness depends upon the development of this energy spiritual and material.

Singularity

Sources are numerous but light is one; sects are many but the religion is only one. All the sects and religions of the world, it is said, are like banana skin, the inner fruit and taste of pulp is the same. As we see, sectarian thoughts wander in contrary directions but the movement of spirituality and wellness is singularly unitary and arrive finally at one and the same point.
Wise concentrate on the perception not the thoughts. One should never identify people by their position, degree, adjective and see him as an embodiment of consciousness and wellness. Gradually making this awareness free from love and hate accepting as it is, is a real path of bliss.
Any system of the world that segregates people is a wrong path because wellness of the world and true humanity is metamorphosis from captive traditions and ritualistic domain into a more inclusive and all embracing state of mind not cleaved by differences and sects. Infinite oneness is secret of life and source of greatness of life as well as unity.

Human Being

Forgetting all appreciators, critics and admirers we should be true to our own self, rising above the material aspects of life. In fact self gratification is pivot of all desires. We live like captive of endless demands generated by our ego and senses. We try to create our identity with what we posses. Our position as well as what so ever we have does not matter, what matters is our personality and behavior. It is also a problem to become capable of achieving and achieve things we really don’t need but want to achieve only to impress others. It is a cause of constant insecurity because someone may get bigger and better and devaluate our prized possessions.

Money, fame and success are ephemeral, only faith and peace make better human being. One should realize that personality and contribution to the society is more important than all our worldly possessions. Pursuit of pleasure is like chasing the wind, those who love wealth are never satisfied by riches. The more we learn better we know that more is still left to be known. What we achieve is lost, what we create in the world is destroyed. It is folly to dedicate life to money, material and success. In fact all material possessions and achievements become obstacles sooner or later, even a thought of being somebody is illusion and hindrance in development of real wellness. Those who work too hard and too long to have nice homes, cars and equipments, pay very high price for all this apart from stress and depression.
Those who think they are smart and try to keep things safe and comfortable are frightened and angry on all changes and innovations. They have to face storm of opposition and humiliation.
One should definitely have attitude of getting more but appreciate what he gets. All the materialistic solutions and managements are external solutions which like a wall repair does not really solve the problem. Solution is humanity and wellness.

Wellness Tips

The power of diet, exercise, drugs and surgery is well established for physical and mental wellness. But it is also clear that capacity to nurture and be nurtured and to have open heart is very important for long and healthy life.
Ten to fifteen spells of deep breathing slow down the heart rate, relieves tension and lowers blood pressure reducing the stress hormone. Five to ten slow stretches of our body relieve muscle tension caused by fatigue and help circulation in our body and oxygen to the brain. Whenever there is stress and tension it should be practiced. One should also determine his own prime time and save it deciding important works to be done in this high energy period. It is respecting our body clock. In fact our body constantly talks to us through aches, pains and vague feelings called intuition. One should pay proper attention to this complete system of wakeup calls.
It is always better to get more sunlight and take frequent and smaller meals. One should always avoid alcohol in any form because when body burns alcohol, it does not burn fat and carbohydrate. This leaves unmetabolized fat which is very bad for the whole system and kills wellness in multiple ways.
We should travel as much as possible and learn new skills now starting early, contact a friend frequently and never allow a small stuff to bug us. One should also learn to say ‘no’ in a very humble manner.
We should try to enhance and appreciate greenery, flowers, fruits and plant. Whenever possible it is good to volunteer your time and money and try to make someone else’s days happier and better.

New Hope

Modern technology is presenting the world every moment in smaller capsules and serving it in a nutshell through internet and information technology. As the world goes smaller by better communication and development of science our common humanity and sense of oneness shall reveal itself more prominently.
What binds the whole world is one law, the crux of all great religions of the world. It can be said that all goodness meet in harmony and enrich unity. It is time of global religious revival in the world when forces of extremism are getting stronger every day and there is a natural wave of interfaith co-operation. The ‘honor of every sect’ and Din-E-Ilahi propounded by Ashok and Akbar, respectively the ancient and medieval Indian emperors were never so relevant. India because of its great historical diversity of devotion may come up as a precursor and a world model of these important things.
Changes and differences are part of life. So, please wake up!! Dare to come out of helplessness and excuses, fear and shame, cheating and shortcuts, laziness and loopholes. Let us choose and embrace hope and love.
Come out with a firm belief in the surrounding nature and your own inner-self, the conscient.

Happiness: Theory and Practice

Our body is made up of matter and comprised of physical organs including brain and nerves. Body is simply assemblage of equipments and instruments used by the inner person, the conscient entity, the metaphysical or spiritual being which also thinks and has emotions. Brain is only a mechanism of it. Certain factors in the process of living and day to day life silently motivate and illusion this conscient to identify itself with brain and body. This is a tragedy that the spiritual entity wrongly believes itself to be gross and physical in nature. The integral is cut into pieces by mind therefore exhibits multiplicity in this world. This is what makes the naturally evident unity and harmony prima-facie non-believable. These things pollute our conduct as well as behavior and is root cause of peacelessness which is to be reversed gradually and unlimited peace, happiness and wellness is to be redeemed. Rest can be really achieved by managing happiness.
Happiness is a state of mind and it is a practiced trait, it is a type of mood which comes and goes with intervals of time but feeling secure and wishful encourages it. Happiness is a feeling of wellbeing: once the optimism and hope is enhanced in such a way that it outweighs the unpleasant and boring, only happiness remains as a result of it.
Choices if available may help us in being happy but this is most of the time momentary, in comparison to the warmness of relations. If one has relationship which is really warm and satisfying it enhances chances of happiness in multiple ways. Families which welcome friends are always happier. We should have enough to provide for basic need and feel content with what we have. Balanced family life is a great source of potentials of happiness.
Prayer, meditation, singing with others or choir, the belly laughing, friendship and making love are potential immunity enhancers which also equip us to maintain happy state of mind in general.
