UP is focusing on industrial transformation and
creating IT hub to create large number of Jobs. IT city will be established in
Lucknow and Agra. IT city Lucknow would be built over 100 acres at Gajariya
Forms for which land has already been arranged.
Kanpur-Unnao-Lucknow-hahjahanpur,
Allahabad-Naini, Gorakhpur, Faizabad, Bhadohi-Varanasi-Sonbhadra,
Mathura-Firozabad, Muzaffarnagar-Meerut, Agra, Moradabad and Aligarh are
emerging investment centers for U.P., Lucknow the state capital will be linked
to Agra via eight lane Expressway. U.P. ranked under three top IT export states
till 1990's but afterward some states of south marched ahead. Redemption of
U.P's earlier position is systematically planned to show the results in the form
of investment and productivity enhancement.
